Dresses

So all of you girls out there should tell me where you go shopping for cute dresses. I want a new dress for my b-day in June so I want LOTS OF COMMENTS (pretty please with cherries on top) to tell me where everyone shops. So all of you come out of the closet and post a comment. Unless no one reads my blog anymore cause it's a little BORING & I never post. ha.

Love you all in advance

What!? I always wonder where YOU shop. Oh and i remember reading on facebook one day...i think it was Natalie that said "stay away from the Dress Barn". LOL That has stuck with me...everytime i see a Dress Barn i think of that. So anyway, hopefully you'll get some more comments. You will be modeling your birthday present for us when you get it right? ;) Happy early birthday.

I think DownEast has pretty cute stuff, but I have never gotten the dresses to work for me there. They always seem to hang on me in the wrong places, but maybe your cute little figure will have more luck!

When I was skinny (unfortunately, way too long ago), I used to LOVE Ann Taylor. You can see about an Ann Taylor Loft which is usually cheaper. Once this baby comes out, it is my goal to look cute in Ann Taylor again (it's not that they don't carry my size, I just don't feel as cute in them anymore). I'll let you know when I buy my first Ann Taylor dress. Good luck on the dress shopping.

If you are willing to try on a lot of dresses... I like Ross and TJ Maxx :) They are always cute AND cheap. Nordstrom Rack is great too.

so i'm slightly embarrassed to say my favorite place to shop for clothes is target. prices are good and personally i love the styles. ive browsed on down east basics but never bought but i love shabby apple but they're too pricey for me. I just drool over what could be...

Ok, I know you don't really know me, but I promise I know Travis!! [from byu-idaho!!] and I just couldn't resist sharing some of my favorite dresses!! [and you're adorable, btw...] but I LOVE shabbyapple.com LOVE their dreses. A lot. My hubby got me a dress from there from my bday in March! And in the past I've gotten dresses from layersclothing.com, but they don't have any right now, which is a bummer. But, they had a ton at Christmas time, so maybe soon they'll have some. Another one is mikarose.com, oh and downeast basics..super common in Utah, I know, but they have cute sunday-ish stuff. But, go with shabbyapple...and they send you coupons and stuff, it's fantastic! :D Good luck!

A few random places in the Salty City:

apt 202
the Children's Hour (don't let the name fool ya)
the shop next to Hip & Humble-sorry can't remember the name
Anthropology
and don't laugh...Ann Taylor at the Gateway

now that said, cutest clothes but not the most economically sound. regardless the makings of a fun day out and about. :D

If you go to Modest By Design and look through/past the bridesmaids dresses there are WAY cute ones. It's nice cuz you don't have to worry about how short they are. Also, if you shop at Dillards they have cute ones, and most of the time I can find ones that aren't way expensive. I got a really cute modest one there a few months ago and it was only $15 bucks.
