Christmas morning...

Yep our Christmas was awesome. Bryant loved it!!! (except for when he freaked out about his Thomas the Train power wheels, which he STILL fears and hates. classic.) Having a kid makes Christmas magical again. I heart it.

Below are some HORRIBLE pictures of the Bry Guy on Christmas morning. Yes it's dark outside. 6:30 am baby. ugh.

Bryant finding his toys, happy as can be, until Thomas started making sounds. I probably scared him. drat. (sorry the video is so dark at the end).

Ps. I got my new whispy white curtains. I love them. the end.

Ho Ho Ho...

So the month of December has been a little crazy so far. Christmas parties, work trips to Vegas, shopping, shoveling snow, getting my car stuck in the snow, etc. etc.

I haven't blogged in a while, but since I'm so incredibly bored today (and my son is watching elmo, due to his diarrhea- induced craziness), I decided I would share a sad yet embarrassing story.

So today in Walmart my son was freaking out as I went grocery shopping. He's that kid in the store that everyone scowls at because he screams SO LOUD. (a couple actually approached me once and told me their fears of being pregnant with a boy, after witnessing my son's behavior no doubt. I just wished them good luck. haha).

Anyway, when I went to go pay for said groceries, Bryant got so mad that he threw his toy car and it hit the lady in front of us. I was so mortified. What do you do when your kid does something like that in public? Especially in a situation where you can't leave? Oh the horror.

I pretty much mumbled an apology and ran out of the store (bright red I might add).

Any advice?

Anywho, I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season (with happy content non-tantrum throwing children :)

Love,

Becca

Farm Country....

(random pic of Bryant in Target. I'm falling into a nasty habit of buying him an ICEE every time we go in because then he stays happy. It's bad I know. Anyone else do that?)

So we recently took Bryant to a magical place called "farm country" at thanksgiving point. He LOVED it. He was completely enamored by all of the animals. Anywho, here are a few pictures (I need to start taking pics on a real camera. My phone camera kinda sucks).

The cow wanted to eat Bryant's hair. gross.

I can never get a good pic with him. He tries to bolt every time.

Riding the horses. Awesome. ha

Little goats are cute.

Pure joy

More goats cause goats are cool.

just avoid my annoying voice. If I would actually stop talking you could probably hear Bryant better. haha. If you listen closely he says "goat" a couple of times. it's funny.

House LOVE.....

Yes I realize that this post is totally narcissistic. But I don't care.
I love my new house so much I couldn't stop taking pictures.
Although the pics were taken from my phone so they are pretty craptastic.

Enjoy:)

Imagine a pretty cream-ish rug and wispy light curtains above the big window. huh? huh? huh?

I haven't killed my orchid yet. YES.

Guest bedroom

Yes I convinced Travis that grey, plum, and cream should be our master bedroom colors. When it's finished it will look awesome. Imagine crystal lamps and cream side tables with cool artwork above the bed. Oh and a cool bench at the end. :)

I love walk-in closets. I have a whole wall that is ALL MINE.

There you have it (except for Bry's room. I thought I had too many pics already ha), we're still not finished decorating, but alas the allotted amount of money has been spent so it will have to wait :)

Bijou Market is coming.....

I'm pretty excited about this. I dragged Travis and Bryant to it last year and it was AMAZING. They have incredible handmade ADORABLE things. I bought the cutest shirt last year for $5.

Christmas shopping anyone?

Want to go with me??

word vomit...

Bryant refuses to look at cameras now. It makes for funny pictures.

HELLO THERE

Guess what?! We are moving next Saturday. HALLELUJAH.

Pictures to come when we are all moved in.

Warning: I sound like a superficial stupid lame girl below. It's word vomit, what can I say?

So this is totally unrelated to anything, but I love Nordstrom. haha. I love when I've had the worst day ever I can go to Mac and get my makeup done and buy a new sparkly "paint pot" (while Bryant watches "mickey mouse clubhouse" from my phone ha).

Yes I posted one of "those" pictures on my blog. I like the eyeshadow they did. It makes my eyes look big (or maybe too big? Travis says I have "lemur eyes" ha).

I love good friends who always seem to know when I need to get out of my apartment and do something totally random. (like going to Costco to taste all of the food samples and letting bry play with all of the fun toys).

I Love my husband. I have been seriously down about my body. So down that it fills me with dread to try on any new clothes because I feel so out of shape. Today he surprised me with a dress I have been wanting from nordstrom. It seriously made my day.

I need a haircut. I haven't had one since LAST MARCH. Yes I know that is a little pathetic, but I just get so lazy....Anyone know how I should cut my hair?

Ignore pic on the left. haha. I've had people tell me I look like Mandy moore so I thought I might as well give one of her haircuts a go. What do you think?

I like her bangs. I feel like my cheeks are chubby though and bangs might add to that.

Anywho, sorry about the lame-ness of this post.

Love,
Becca

Take the good with the bad....

Hi friends.

So life has been a whirl of emotion lately.

I feel SO HAPPY that our house is nearly finished and we are closing Oct. 28th!!! It seems so surreal and I feel very blessed that we are finally moving out of our little apartment. It has been a good little home for us, but I think all three of us are PSYCHED to be getting a little more space (Bryant screams HOUSE HOUSE HOUSE right when we get off our exit to our new house). I can't wait.

In other news, my momma just had a hysterectomy. I have never seen her in so much pain, or felt so helpless. I kept my composure at the hospital and tried to keep my "nurse becca" hat on, but on the drive home I had a meltdown in the car and cried my little heart out. ha. It is so bizarre to see my mom (who is always so put together and going going going going...) be in such pain. It was the worst. Say lots of prayers on her behalf ok?
I Love you Mom.

We love our cafe rio salads.......mmmmmm
